I'm not alone Not at all There are so MANY people Friends Loved ones Who are there for me if I need them I only need to ask
it's only me walking My journey is only about me I am important So I will take time to care about only me
There will be time to help others later in my journey There will be time for their problems when I am ready
Until then I will reserve my strength to make sure that I have what I need to care for me
Life became a mess With so little warning Tearing me away from the safety I thought I knew

Through all of life’s hardships through loss, pain, and heartbreak Do your best to be your best even when your heart and soul ache
What creatures exist here in this world so small I lie down in the grass to exist among them
Mistakes are inevitable You can’t avoid or escape them They are the foundation of your growth You are a flower, they are your stem
Sometimes You get swallowed by sadness Dragged down by loneliness And that's okay
When you were young you were handed a sign and they told you to hold it That it was who you were
Your future was bright and shining Your smiles big and beaming But then you messed up and now there’s a voice That keeps yelling and screaming
Life can be chaos fear, anger, destruction It tears you down and threatens to overwhelm
You got lost and confused In your chaos, you messed up The only thing to do now is to own it and fess up
