You can’t always see the light you wield How brightly it shines how far it reaches You can’t see the people that bask in its glow that are healed and helped that smile at it

You can’t always see how it changes the lives of those around you how it helps those lost in the dark

Even though you can’t see it the rest of us can so when you're down, we can remind you how brightly you shine

I'm not just here when you're happy I do love it when we smile together When we radiate joy that soon becomes contagious I'm not just here for the excitement It is such a thrill to be with you When I'm with you my heart is full to bursting

Because you see that's what love is It's being there for the good and the bad And I'm here for you Not just the good, but all the times

You’re a Good Person

It’s easy to remember the times you spoke without thinking and hurt someone precious to you rather than when you made them smile It’s easy to remember the times when you didn’t understand and upset someone on accident rather than when you helped someone on purpose

When that’s all you remember it becomes easy to see yourself as nothing more than a collection of every mistake you’ve ever made

But I see something different

I can remember the times you made people smile the times you helped people the times you did the right thing
