We couldn't have. (Princess) Happy Christmas everyone It's been a long time coming We're all together at last It's almost a little numbing (Skyeyes) Everyone else is ready There's nothing to fear The danger's behind us and everyone's here

(Brain) Get up and go We finally have the chance I've been waiting a long time For our Snowy Time Dance

(Firecracker) We made mistakes along the way Said and did things we shouldn't have But in the end, found a bright future Imagined this? We couldn't have.

(Moon) The snow's beautiful Gently falling from the sky A sparkling reward for us And all the trying times

(Toad) We're all side by side No one needs to doubt You fight one, you fight us all Cos we protect those we care about

(Cohort) The future's uncertain For once, I don't know what to do But I know it'll be alright Because I've got all of you

I knew I could beat her Strong and confident, that's me But there's a big difference Between bravery and stupidity

“Think before you act” Empty words repeated “Control your temper, young lady” I don't care, a fire has to stay heated I burned brighter than ever Only a single friend beside me I thought together we were enough I unleashed the flame out from inside me

We burned, we fought, we exploded Like I had many times before But lectures and school and practice Aren't the same as a war

She ripped apart my friend Then set her sights on me My body broken, I realized my mistake and struggled to crawl to safety

In the end, she dragged me back laughing like she'd had fun scars to cover my face I can never hide what I'd become

I cried to my family when I told them what I'd done they smiled and said “we know, dear” for that, you needn't feel glum

They'd already forgiven me Even those of them I'd attacked My best friend smiled at me anyway He told me “we've still got your back”

My flame is still burning and they're all there for me They fan the flame brighter And remind me of responsibility

I can keep it burning I've learned a lot from them I'll keep it safe and warm Without exploding again

They're all going to look at you If you're like me, you'll think of something Though at first, I felt like such a dumb thing Now when they say we can't, I say we can Because I've got a plan !--more-- I grew up in the shadow of five brothers Like that, it's hard to get the attention of others You've got to work harder Or maybe just smarter I'd say don't take stupid risks But I've taken at least six Don't stick your head in the sand Instead, come up with a plan We've found ourselves outnumbered But I've always remembered We've probably faced worse We'll dodge every spell and curse It doesn't matter how many enemies there are We get out with neither scratch nor scar Against impossible odds, but still they ran Because I had a plan Sometimes, complications arise I'm not really what you'd call wise I can think at least eight moves ahead But things don't always play out like they do in my head I'm not saying all our problems are my fault I'm not the one that ticked off an evil cult But I'll never throw my friends under the tram I'll get them out with another plan I've said things that made sense at first But then only made things worse Even then, I've always had someone by my side Although I don't always want to be the one to decide Where we go next, what we're going to do When I'm stuck, I know who to turn to We'll win, I know we can Because I've got a plan #Poetry #GirlInRed #Confidence (C) 2024-2026 Sky Starlight CC BY-NC-SA div id="cusdis"/]]> (Told from the perspective of Cohort from Girl in Red)

No. Wrong again.
