Swimming Upstream

I'm so tired of always swimming upstream I want to let the current sweep me away

The waterfall's behind me roaring, crashing, calling Telling me how easy it'd be to stop swimming

There may be no break for me no place to rest my head If I give up now would it be so bad?

There are people counting on me Real and imaginary Stories untold or cut short Lives torn to pieces

So I'll keep swimming upstream With dreams in my heart For those that need me I won't give up
