Wear the Label of You
You tried so hard to find something That describes who and what you are But that’s not how life works, not really You might as well try to count every star
Categories and labels only exist So we can be processed and identified But it’s impossible to label everyone Despite all the people who’ve tried
The truth is, it doesn’t matter what category or label you hold You don’t have to fit some standard No matter what you’ve been told
You’re still you, inside and out There are many who would agree That you’re perfect just like this That’s all we want you to be
So just wear the label of you
