Today, life is chaos mad, wild, out of control a raging river on which I’m trapped

You don’t need anyone else to tell you that you’re enough You can do that by yourself I know that you are that tough

I’m trapped here inside no matter how many times I’ve tried to escape this empty pit The dark, the cold, this is it The past has swallowed me whole My regrets and misery have taken a toll So I’m left to wander, always lost Wondering if my choices were worth the cost Then I look out and see something new and my hope shines through Cos even though this journey is my own I don’t have to walk it alone

When life crashes around you And all you can see is destruction Take a deep breath and start moving on

I’m sorry if what I said didn’t make sense or even if you might’ve taken offense I’m sorry if I assumed incorrectly or if you think I tried to hurt you directly I’m sorry I can’t be what you want me to be But I’m not sorry for being me

Sometimes, people let you down They make a bad choice They change into someone they weren’t They slip back into old habits

It’s okay to be scared although I’m sure you’re prepared I’ll tell you why, and it’s true that I believe in you

When life threatens to overwhelm Why not give something new a chance? Take a step back from all the stress and do a little dance
