After the End
Endings are hard To look back at something At someone And know that it's only a memory
That new memories will never be made That to future generations that voice and personality are only pictures on the wall
But out of their memory Something new is born Something beautiful An idea or bond or life
Without that story that ended this wouldn't exist This small change in the world Even if it doesn't feel like much
This is important, because they would've loved it We can always remember them When we see or hear the change
We can look back with happiness At times now long gone And remember “That happened”
No one can take it from us It's ours to keep No matter what happens to those memories Those feelings will stay with us forever
