You Must Be in This Much Pain

Sometimes it might feel like no one will listen to you that your troubles aren't enough for people to stop and care

There's no standard metric of pain No scale on which your suffering may be judged No committee to tell you it's not enough No forms or tests or assessments

Pain is pain Yours and mine are different You needn't suffer more than me For me to offer you my hand

If it hurts, speak up I'll sit down and listen Don't be afraid to share I understand how you feel
