I kiss my finger and boop your nose It's what I want to do, I suppose But am I starting to feel something more? I'm thinking of you all the time Call you my rainbow ray of sunshine Could it be that it's you I adore? Now I'm fussing over what to wear So excited to go and see you there Starting to realize something brand new I think I'm catching feelings for you
Cast aside again and again and again and every single time you felt like nothing
Life can be chaos fear, anger, destruction It tears you down and threatens to overwhelm
The demons are swarming mocking you, laughing at you you run for a safe corner where they can’t pursue
Everything was beautiful Bright, happy, colorful Full of sparkling, magical wonder I started to smile again Thought that maybe I could fit in And the joy would chase away the thunder Gone were the storms I’d known for so long And I believed with my whole being that I could belong
I know how you feel that your problems are a burden and that you can’t ask that anyone else share them
You got lost and confused In your chaos, you messed up The only thing to do now is to own it and fess up
When you’ve been hurt it’s hard to recover and easy to push others away as you seek safe shelter
Dear Isaac,
There’s so much I love about you That I couldn’t imagine life without you The time we’ve spent together Is something I’ll cherish forever
We all lose our way sometimes Even the best of us We fall into the dark and can’t get back out
