Today was miserable Awful, horrible Everything went wrong It was the worst of days

There will always be people who want you to be something different Something that you are not Something that you don’t want to be

You think there’s so much wrong with you That no one could possibly accept the real you So you bury it all deep down below Where no one will ever be able to go But despite everything “wrong”, you can still sparkle Because you see, all of this is completely normal

After a day filled with people some bad, some lovely it’s nice to get some time to only worry about me

When you push and push working hard every minute you’ll find yourself burned out

You ran and tripped and fell down And you can’t get up off the ground You’re always so full of regret So many things just make you so upset All those thoughts don’t make you bad Dry your tears, please don’t be sad Lean on me when you’re tired from the fight And always remember that it’s you that I like

It’s so easy to hide the best parts of yourself because you’re convinced that no one will understand
